GoodToBee 'Flowers' Beeswax Wrap - The Big One

The Perfect XL Plastic-Free Cover for Bread!
£
15.50

Beeswax wraps are the perfect sustainable alternative to evil plastic clingfilm & plastic breadbags.

'The Big One' really is Extra Large - 48cm x 55cm - the perfect size for keeping your freshly-made bread super fresh!

Although it's super-sized, you can still use it to cover any leftovers in the kitchen, or maybe for a large cheese in the fridge - just whatever you want!

By just using the warmth of your hands, the wrap will seal around a loaf of bread or a cake ...

The only thing you MUST NOT do is wrap raw fish or meat!

These GoodToBee wraps are made with love in the UK, from GOTS certified organic cotton, printed with eco dyes.

Each wrap is infused with ethically-sourced beeswax, tree resin & organic jojoba oil.

If cared for properly, this wrap will last at least a year (although mine have lasted longer!) - you can recharge your wrap by ironing between two sheets of greaseproof paper - just peel the paper away while the wax is wet and hold in the air until dry.

It's worth having a look on YouTube for other ways in which to refresh your wraps if they start to lose their sealability!

There are two Big-One designs, as well as a Vegan Option (with no beeswax). Find them all here!

As a handmade product slight variation may occur in size, colour, and texture but this is all part of their natural beauty.

See Packaging Afterlife to find out how to dispose of the wraps once they've had their day 💚

Ingredients:

Made with GOTS certified organic cotton.

Printed with eco dyes.

Infused with ethically sourced beeswax, tree resin and organic jojoba oil.

Packaged in cardboard, printed with eco inks.

Both the Wraps and the Packaging are plastic free and fully compostable.

When your wraps do eventually lose their usefulness,  just cut them up & pop them in your compost, or food waste bin & they'll give back to the environment anything they've taken!

If you have a woodburner, or open fire, then your old wraps can also be used as firelighters - they're like the perfect plastic-free alternative!!

Using your hands, which will warm the wax, shape the wrap around your food, or container, to create a breathable seal.

Wash the wraps in cold, soapy water & leave to drip dry - be careful not to use hot water, as this will deplete the beeswax & make the wrap less sealable.

It's best if you roll your wraps to store them - it stops you getting cracks & creases in the wax!
