As the razor blades are made from stainless steel, they are 100% recyclable, but for safety reasons it's best not to put single razors directly into your recycling bin, so we're suggesting you follow this handy tip from Katherine Kellogg, author of 101 Ways to Go Zero Waste.
She suggests making a kind of razor blade money box so you can recycle all the blades at once: "Get a can of soup and make a hole in the top with a flat head screwdriver and a chisel that's big enough to fit a razor blade. Empty out all the soup, clean the can, and let it dry. Then, put in your razor blades every time you finish with them. Once the tin is full, which might take a lifetime, put a piece of tape over the hole and take it to a place that handles metal recycling."
The cardboard box and paper wraps can be placed in your recycle bin, or cut up and put in your garden compost.
